How we analyze Steam reviews
Source and collection scope
We collect Steam user reviews through Steam’s public review endpoints. A page identifies the reviews collected for its latest successful refresh; it does not call that sample all Steam reviews unless the same run captured Steam’s reported total.
Processing
Reviews may be translated to English, then summarized and classified by AI. Canonical praise, problems, and suggestions come from the maintained issue catalog and require supporting mentions.
Freshness and publication
Pages are indexable only after a successful collection and analysis run, at least 100 collected reviews, sufficient analysis coverage, current collection timing, and canonical evidence. Recent releases require a refresh within seven days; older games within 90 days; games with no known release date within 30 days.
Limitations and corrections
AI summaries can make mistakes, translated text can lose nuance, and a sample may not represent every Steam review. Steam and Valve do not endorse this site. For corrections, use the contact details in the site footer.
